The other day I was having a chat in the IRC with raster about a Enlightenment Graphical Boot program I plan on writing (which is coming along quite well I might add). But anyway, he mentioned that I could use Ecore_Evas to do a direct to Frame buffer version. This would allow me to create a graphic boot screen that didn't require X. Now I started messing with ecore_evas_fb_new in my code in place of ecore_evas_software_x_new and everything seemed ok, until I ran the program. Now I had the VESA fb set up by the kernel which is what raster suggested. But when I ran the proggie, the screen blanked and the program just seemed to go into a constant loop.
But getting to my question. I am wondering if anyone happens to know if there is a good test program, like the one for the ecore_evas X stuff, that I could look at as an example of how to use direct ecore_evas FB stuff. I am almost positive I am doing something wrong, but with a test program as an example, I could proly figure it out on my own.
