Hey All,

I just noticed that erss is no longer in the e17/apps directory. In chapter 2 section a of the guide you should remove the line e17/apps/erss (RSS feed application). I'm not sure when erss dissappeared or when/if it's coming back. Also the FAQ section d contains information on eRSS (is this the same as erss or is this the one in misc?)

Thanks,

Dave W.

Hey all,

I posted some time ago about the work-in-progress E17 users guide me
and Tom (gimpel) have been working on. It's complete now :) Please see
http://lude.net/edocs - it's the final version, including the
layout/screenshots etc. Currently we still have the "Unofficial" tag
of course. We've gone through the text with help from alot of people
quite many times already so it should be (fairly) error and typo free
now. If you have some spare time, please give it a scan if you see
anything that should be changed. As alread said in the previous mail,
the point of the guide is to provide user-level documentation for E17,
which would help the the early adopters, testers and perhaps
developers completely new to E17. It's meant to be a work in progress
guide that's constantly updated/maintained to be "in sync" with
everything in CVS.

In other words we're waiting for an official "ok" (and we'd also need
to know what, if anything, needs to be changed or clarified) and
perhaps it could be moved to enlightenment.org (?), once the CMS
system is up and running that is. You can also find us on IRC, our
nicks are vrln (me) and gimpel.

regards,

Valtteri
