The contents of the two files are different.

I'm using Didier's repositories, which are direct, "stable' builds from the current cvs directory...so yes...I would assume that I'm using the pam file from cvs, especially since the /etc/pam.d/entrance file exists.

Then you'd better ask him to patch the entrance .src.rpm to use the right pam file.
