Actually, it should be %{__make}, not just make. Those macros exist
for a reason.
Furthermore, the _smp_mflags idea was tragically short-sighted. Any
standard options should be passable to make (and make install), not
just SMP-related ones, which is why all our stuff uses %{mflags} and
%{mflags_install} if present.
Not that I would ever disagree with the all-knowing Fedora packagers,
of course.... :-)
