there is no other benefit. Second, why didn't you use ecore_config_rgb_{set,get}()? (then you wouldn't need to pass NULL or 255 to the unused alpha params).

there is no rgb any more. the rgb functions were in essence just wrappers to argb as they were..

On a side note, anyone know why ecore_config uses argb instead of rgba?

I dunno.. was that way when I started dabbing.. :)
