I believe I have narrowed down the source of a variety of issues I am experiencing under E22. Up till E22 under Composite Settings, I was able to use OpenGL rather than Software. Never had any issues with E21, any version or previous. With E22, I cannot use OpenGL.
I believe under E22 using OpenGL vs Software is the cause behind these issues. E 22 alpha and beta GTK stops rendering internal content https://phab.enlightenment.org/T6144 terminology + efl 1.20.* = 100% CPU at times, and locking up E, eventual crash https://phab.enlightenment.org/T6145 Incorrect title on that one, should be E22+ has nothing to do with Terminology or EFL. I can use latest EFL with E21.7 + opengl _native_bind_cb() eglCreateImage() for Pixmap 0x0xe325d6 failed: https://phab.enlightenment.org/T6208 These maybe X specific, as I am unable to use Wayland due to no systemd. Though I have some ideas there, another post for that. These are all 100% OpenGL hardware vs software related and E22+ specific. EFL 1.20.7 + E 21.7 + OpenGL works all day long.
