If you are using Enlightenment from git and your config was generated on or after April 1st, it is broken due to this commit: https://git.enlightenment.org/core/enlightenment.git/commit/?id=ab88e01afad6da37479d2674fd69b0db9e05e5a4
It is now fixed but you will need to generate a new config. You can do this by going to the settings panel, then the settings section, then profile, and clicking scratch.
