Grads should be somewhat faster in general, and a LOT faster for horz/vert linear grads. One thing I should mention though - if you know that you will only draw one cycle of the grad (ie. no repeat/reflect) due to the way the fill is setup, then setting the spread to 'restrict' will be faster, in general. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
