The peculiar thing is, when I changed over to ubuntu edgy recently from SuSE 9.4, I went through the fonts looking for a nice one to use for my day to day usage. Figuring there might have been a different set of fonts installed, and one of them might be better than what I was using in the past. I picked the DejuVu font coz it looked better at the small size I prefer for my daily text needs.
