This was done because the description box was moved to the bottom of the 
  module screen, effectively giving it more room to display the text, 
thus negating the need for all the <br> (line breaks) in their description.

This actually ends up being more adaptable because now when the theme 
handles the textblock widget, the module description texts will be 
displayed as the theme intended.

There is current an issue with the textblock where the word wrap isn't 
being respected when inside a scrollframe. This is a known issue and I 
am looking at different ways to fix it.

Edje is very flexible...and doing things this way allows the theme more 
control over how that text is displayed.
