Hi, I had a similar problem and the main problem was that my dbus daemon wasn't correctly set up. I also had a similar warning "You should just open it..." and after edje_decc'ing it and compiling it again (and moving the new .edj to the folder) and it worked. I don't know if this is your case (looks like your warning is for a cfg file, weird), but I hope this helps :)
