If you turn composite on, you'll see the gadman module wallpaper as semitransparent. By default, the background of the gadman module is simply white. All white, so, with composite on, you'll see it semi-transparent. If you don't turn composite on, the module will work aniway, the only difference will be that the gadman background will not have any transparency. Composite managers that you can use are - xcompmgr - bling (native module, has bugs) And if you have 3D, you may use our ecomorph too. In any case, as for transparency, that's the normal way it shoudl work.
