   "Back"? No. Things like evas, edje, and friends are 'good enough'
for what uses they're currently applied to. Sure there are fixes and
some improvements and cleanups here and there that could be done to
them, but ultimately they're more or less fine for what they do.
   It's neither needed nor worthwhile to attempt major extensions to
them given their current uses and their internals, nor is it attractive
to me even contemplate such given their current license which I don't
particularly care for.

   I'd say it's time to move on, or "e" will likely remain stuck with
too limited a set of capabilities and application uses. Others may
disagree with this assessment though, or with parts of it, and wish to
continue working on them.. and to them I sincerely wish the best, but
it's not something I personally see as interesting.
