gstreamer-plugins-base-0.10 is part of libgstreamer-plugins-base0.10-dev, are you sure you installed it? Here on Ubuntu Karmic, it seems to work correctly once installed: [7:45 ~]% pkg-config --exists 'gstreamer-plugins-base-0.10 >= 0.10.1'; echo $? 0 Regards, -- Albin Tonnerre
