On opensuse 11.0, I just updated to E17-svn_20100103_r44860-4.2, and it
is segfaulting all over the place. Specifically, if I try and use the settings
or add an icon to the ibar, etc.. E17 segfaults and gives the F1 Recover,, F2
Exit box. Most times E can recover, but any unapplied changes are wiped out.
This is on my Toshiba 205d laptop with ATI x1200 gpu. I'm running the
fglrx 8-9 driver (ver. 8.532) and it has always been rock solid with E16, E17,
kde, gnome, etc... The error messages captured in syslog point to a memory
violation somewhere. You guys that can read this stuff may get more from it.
The last couple of crashes look like this in syslog:

Let me know if you want me to open a ticket or test with another
snapshot. ( be pretty verbose in your answers - I'm still learning where
everything is hidden in E17. So if I need to pull a snapshot for testing,
please tell me to goto "url", get "xyz", read "page" and follow the instruction
:-)
