Sorry, not at all. It break ABI and API, that's a no go for Ecore_File. But I would like to point you that I am currently putting effort to Eio, that should provide that kind of API. I didn't get the time yet to add Eio_Notify support, but it's on the TODO. Maybe you can help me finish that library.
