That is an option... yes. For a hackish integration, as Gustavo said it's very easy. To integrate ecore and libuv mainloops it's a bit more difficult. If we don't go the node way, we will need some drastic changes in elev8 and how it manage properties and the inheritance between objects (every time an object is instantiated we are setting again the methods and properties and whatnot). We worked on that today and we already have a solution for this problem... we are going to test it next week and work on the node front as well. What I could say is... don't bother with http and dbus module now since they will need some refactor, either because we are going to use node or because we will provide another infrastructure in elev8.
