As it was my patch, I'll respond. All of the documentation in Edje is very careful to specify it needs version 5.1, with the website specifically saying it can't be 5.2. I went on IRC and asked if that was still the case. I was told that it was, so I made the patch. ArchLinux just upgraded, so lua.pc is now 5.2, so I needed configure.ac to skip that one if Edje needed to link to 5.1. If this is no longer the case, by all means, revert it.
