Hi all, today I'm pleased to present the result of the work I have done in the last years: EpyMC
What's EpyMC? in short: an xbmc clone written in python that use the EFL. while the long one can be found here: http://code.google.com/p/e17mods/wiki/EpyMC?ts=1355774677&updated=EpyMC The name stand for Emotion (Python) Media Center but maybe can be just "emc", the theme still need some love (font are random one) but the code is quite mature and full-featured. In particular the movie section and the mame one are 100% done and working. If you are scared about python then you should give a look at the code...imo it's really clean and simple...please don't be scared for this time ;) The requirement are: - the efl up to emotion (with preferred engine the genirc/vlc one) - the efl python bindings - python-mutagen (for mp3 tag extraction) To try it just download: svn checkout http://e17mods.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/APPS/epymc and then run the main python script in the root: ./epymc.py that's all, you should be up and running if you really love it you can 'make install-local' to install a .desktop (and icon) that point to your local script... or hack the .desktop and put where you like ;) and don't forget to give a look at the README, there are some usage info there.
