Hello everyone, So this year again, we are trying to organize an Enlightenment Developers Day with Linux Foundation help and Samsung sponsorship at around the same time as LinuxCon.Eu. This year, LinuxCon.Eu take place as you can see in Edinburgh ( http://events.linuxfoundation.org/events/linuxcon-europe ) from October 21 to October 23.
We do have the possibility to set it up for Sunday or Monday. To make the decision on that subject, I did setup a poll on phabricator, please answer quickly : https://phab.enlightenment.org/V2 . The second question is about the program of this developers day. I would like to split it in two, one half for beginners with demo and show casing, the second half more about core techonology and specific technical presentation. Idea being we want to have people that don't know much about EFL show up and learn. It create a question in which order we should make this two half happen. Of course, there is a vote for that : https://phab.enlightenment.org/V3 . Another change compared to last year, we are considering charging for the event 30$ and use that to pay for a dinner where we should have all the time we need to discuss. The idea behind it, is that we want to strongly encourage people that will register to also attend. That wasn't the case last year, and it prevented some people to have a chance to register, this should not be the case this year. This mail is also a good opportunity to request people to send me a mail with subject they want to present so we can start doing the planning. We can have lighting talk and longer presentation, so don't hesitate ! If you know anyone that is not on this mailing list and would be interested don't hesitate to forward.
