I created a patch to fix this issue but you reverted everything before I had a chance to get it applied :-/
So I just attached it to https://phab.enlightenment.org/T431 if you want to give it a go. I tested it in a wayland environment... it just needs verified in a non-wayland build setting. ---- U.
