It's not clear what you want to do with menus. You can bring them up with __A_SHOW_MENU.
basically, I use a trackball & half of the time I bring up a menu I end up selecting the wrong entry.. eg. instead of iconifying a window I annihilate it... rather awkward depending on what's runnning in that window if anything... so I figured that if I could open a window menu via Ctrl+Esc (or Alt+Spacebar..) and navigate the menu with the arrow keys eg.. I would feel a little safer.. :-)
I looked at the keybindings.cfg file but have not been able to figure out much so far and a working example would help.
Look at the comments in E's default keybindings.cfg. $EROOT/config/keybindings.cfg.
Looked at the keybinding file before I posted and was not sure how to specify my keyboard actions or the intended result. Thought someone might have walked that path before me and a sample working config might help.
I'll google for this since it does not appear to be installed on my machine. Likewise will look for something called e-conf that might help with other config problems.
Or use e16keyedit.
