The individual pre1 files have been numbered according to the spec file version and release numbers, so pre1 consists of enlightenment-0.16.7-0.56.tar.gz etheme-BlueSteel-0.16-0.01.tar.gz etheme-Ganymede-0.16-0.01.tar.gz etheme-BrushedMetal-Tigert-0.16-0.01.tar.gz etheme-ShinyMetal-0.16-0.01.tar.gz edox-data-0.16.7-0.02.tar.gz + corresponding rpm files.
The program binary rpm enlightenment-0.16.7-0.56.fc2.i386.rpm was built on a (slightly modified) Fedora Core "release 1.92". I believe it also works on RH8.0, RH9, and FC1.
E will not start unless there is a valid "default theme", so either install etheme-BrushedMetal-Tigert or make sure /usr/share/enlightenment/themes/DEFAULT (or wherever your theme dir is) is a link to a valid theme directory.
