Un jour, Daniel Tahin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> a raconté :

Hello!

I try to use mc in Eterm, but i get strange signs. Here is a screenshot:
http://members.a1.net/e0226781/mc_screen.jpg
I probed some X-fonts, but they didn't help. The system is Fedora 3,
Eterm is 0.9.
Do you have any idea?

Thanx in advance,
Daniel

Hello!

It seems that your locale is in utf-8, currently, eterm doesn't handle that
encoding. You can switch to an non-unicode locale or use another terminal
emulator that support unicode (urxvt, gnome-terminal...)

Cheers!
