the pager module isn't in e_modules' package, it's in e's package.

That would explain it :)

also, better rebuilding all of efl before attempting to build apps,
since there could be problems due to compatibility.

Sound advice. That's what I love about this list. I'll probably do a full re-build tonight, thanks. I assume it's safest to just re-build the whole build order from get-e.org? Actually, and this is probably going to expose my "n00b" underbelly... When I download from CVS to /usr/src and configure, compile, and install, does it ever use anything from /usr/src after that point? If not, I'd much rather do my re-building over SSH from work and just re-start E when I get home.


Also, I noticed a small bug in my pager. I'm not sure if this is fixed in an updated version (I'll know tonight, I guess), but when I de/re-activated my pager module yesterday I found that sticky windows were no longer visible on every desktop in the pager, though they were still sticky in the WM. De/re-stickifying them updated the pager.
