Hi there, I've been using e17 for a few days now. Must say it rocks and is fast. I have one issue with it atm. I've got an ATI card with 2 flatpanels connected to it, one 1600x1200 and one 1280x1024. I'm using the ATI drivers and as such am unable to use Xinerama (they don't work together). The ATI driver provides a Big Desktop feature as well, but it doesn't work properly. Hence why I use the Dual Display option. This means I can't drag windows from one screen to the other, but I can live with that. I am able to start applications on the screen I want, depending on where I launch it. Menu and such work fine.
The problem is the modules, they insist on running on both screens :) Even though I can configure and position them individually (so apparently they are seen as seperate instances by E), I cannot disable them on e.g. screen 2 only. They're either on both screens, or they're not there at all. I tried to remove the second instance of the configuration file that I noticed in my .e directories but E just recreates them on restart. Would it be possible to add an option so that I can disable a module on an individual screen ?
