what do you mean "wm compliant" it already respects/handles a lot of icccm and
netwm - not all of it, and likely never all of netwm. e17 is making no effort
to support "desktop apps" like panels, filemanagers etc. as they often
compete/conflict with e17 itself and its gadgets/modules etc.

its on the TODO list. just not a high priority.
