Firstly, if you interpreted my remark as even remotely critical
of the great documentation efforts already extant, you mistook me.
get-e.org is currently the only E site I have bookmarked, and, frankly,
the only one I feel I need.
Second, a wiki *removes* the burden from any one individual (or
small group of individuals) to maintain the latest and greatest info,
and lets the community ensure that the docs are up to date.
And third, with a fifteen-month-old special-needs child, a major
household renovation project underway, and a guitar, synthesizer, drum
kit, and mixing console that have seen not a moment's use in about 20
months, I am not the *least* bit inclined to take on any new projects,
myself...
There are various wiki packages available, and though I've not
set one up myself, I believe (from hearing people talk about such things
around my office) there are some that will take HTML as input and grok
how to split it up into individual wiki pages, with minimal effort
involved from "the converter". Then the links to the English E and EFL
manuals simply get pointed to the top of the respective wikis. Small
effort, big reward.

If you would like to maintain the docs / info on any of the sites then
please feel free to ask for an account to do so. The last thing we
need right now is "yet another site". All the efforts on e.org and
get-e.org are volunteer based so people come and go. If anyone thinks
they are up to it at the moment then feel free to step forward and
talk to us.
