thanks for this, im using a similiar solution.

what leads me to the next observations i made:

the maximize modes are not working as expected, except fill. i cant get
a window maximized to the size of the screen. always stops on borders of
shelves. i thought, when the shelves are under the windows and my
shall-be-fullscreen-window is on top and i say "maximize!" or "maximize
vertically!" it should go to the edge of the screen, but thought wrong ;)

and speaking by keybindings, i personally would like to have the
possibillty to bind one key to more than one action. so one could have
his favourite chain of window action automated resp. shortshortcutted,
like Davids fullscreen method. with e16 this was possible by editing the
bindings.cfg, now the gui has an lock for this.

more to keybindings: an overview of the used/unused keys is, i think,
essential. ok, i can press and try or klick me through the list, but
thats not that satisfying.

and what are the "send mouse to screen ..." shortcuts intended to do?
momentarily when trying it out my e17 crashes nastily against a wall.
just curious.
