Hi,
Ok, here is a screenshot which shows the problem with acroread print
dialog.
  http://omploader.org/vcjc0

I just created a new profile and disabled *all* modules, except the
configuration modules. Moreover, it is running in Xnest so composite is
also not being used. Finally, e17 was compiled from svn just about 2-3
hours ago.

The following is the information showed by xwininfo on the print
dialog before I print anything:
xwininfo: Window id: 0x8004b2 "Print"

  Absolute upper-left X: 225
  Absolute upper-left Y: 464
  Relative upper-left X: 0
  Relative upper-left Y: 0
  Width: 624
  Height: 645
  Depth: 24
  Visual Class: TrueColor
  Border width: 0
  Class: InputOutput
  Colormap: 0x2a (installed)
  Bit Gravity State: NorthWestGravity
  Window Gravity State: NorthWestGravity
  Backing Store State: NotUseful
  Save Under State: no
  Map State: IsViewable
  Override Redirect State: no
  Corners: +225+464 -411+464 -411--322 +225--322
  -geometry 624x645+221+440

The following is the information showed by xwininfo after it becomes a
ghost window:
xwininfo: Window id: 0x2000b6 (has no name)

  Absolute upper-left X: 312
  Absolute upper-left Y: 435
  Relative upper-left X: 312
  Relative upper-left Y: 435
  Width: 632
  Height: 673
  Depth: 24
  Visual Class: TrueColor
  Border width: 0
  Class: InputOutput
  Colormap: 0x2a (installed)
  Bit Gravity State: NorthWestGravity
  Window Gravity State: NorthWestGravity
  Backing Store State: NotUseful
  Save Under State: no
  Map State: IsViewable
  Override Redirect State: yes
  Corners: +312+435 -316+435 -316--321 +312--321
  -geometry 632x673+312+435

This is a relevant portion of e output (I launched acroread from this
urxvtc terminal):
child exit...
  tag E/exec
  inst = 0x835d880
  inst exec line -- 'urxvtc -g 80x40'

I had noticed this problem with acroread for months, but I thought it
was specific to my setup. Since e is so fast in restarting, I simply
used to Ctrl+Alt+End everytime I used the acroread print! :D

Hope the above information is helpful.
