Hi, I used Leopard for a while, and loved the notification system offered by Growl. Ubuntu's upcoming release, Jaunty Jackalope, seems to implement a similar system. I was wondering how hard it would be to implement a similar (or better) unified notification system in E. I mean, sure, some apps might not work, but most of the popular apps use dbus afaik, and it shouldn't be too hard to implement an efficient as well as good-looking notification system in E, should it?
