After I upgraded to the latest Ubuntu, I noticed that I loose a lot of
ram when I just leave it running over night with E17 as the window
manager. It was not doing that before. Is the commonality here that
we are all running a recent install of a debian based system, with
which ever version of X that entails?

Now I have to log out at least once per day. Never had to log out at
all before the upgrade.

Ubuntu 9.04, some ancient nVidia card with the nVidia closed
source drivers (I need 3D). xserver-xorg 1:7.4~5ubuntu18 as it's called
here. All kept up to date, including a recent compile of E17.
