Well I was expecting this is a KDE problem, but as I never used kde apps before I didn't know if there was some option in KDE somewhere to change this. Did this stop again for you with some KDE version or does it persist. I'm considering taking this up with the KDE devs, I don't think this is very good behaviour and makes KDE apps essentially unusable on other WMs IMO.
