alt+left in has always been move - before kde or gnome even dreamt of it. alt
+middle has always been resize in e- before kde and gnome ever dreamed anything
up. alt+right has forever and a day been "window manager menu" ever since..
long before gnome or kde considered it (remember gnome had no wm of its own and
e was doing this before gnome existed or when people used e+gnome. kde is a
similar story)
