Are you upgrading from an already installed e17, or trying a new
install? If it's a new install, just remove packages.enlightenment.org
from your sources.list(.d), it is outdated. If you're upgrading you
should still do that, and continue reading...

If you are comfortable with the command line, try the following:
$ aptitude -v install e17{,-data}/sid libeet1/sid libedje-bin/sid
libe{ina,dje,vas}-svn-05-

The exact incantation may vary because of different sources you may
have configured. If the first solution tries to remove e17, answer No
and aptitude will offer a different solution.

In any case, it will probably warn you about downgrading e17,
but that is because of the epoch declaration in
packages.enlightenment.org (you're going from 1:svn44144 to 49898,
which apt considers a downgrade).

If you're using Synaptic, you could try selecting the e17 package and
selecting "force version". Choose the unstable version, synaptic should
understand what you're trying to do.

Hope this helps,
Arno
