When I started using e16 (about a year ago, I think), I had problems with the claws-mail icon in the e16 systray. I think the claws-mail icon would sometimes disappear (not be redrawn, I suppose). The icon had been working in KDE-3 and in Gnome. I gave up and installed a panel (lxpanel) and used the systray in the panel which always worked fine. I had just assumed the e16 systray was broken. I'll try to see if I can reproduce the problem here again. I don't think it consistently failed, it just seemed flaky.
