Illume. I was using the "default" which is similar to illume except the background is a textured black wallpaper. But the icons remain missing.
I don't know if it's possible to change the icon theme itself. Also I have another problem. I can't connect to my wifi unless I start gnome-session and use the built-in network manager. I can then connect to my wifi, then I just "log out" of the gnome session. wicd won't execute in e17. I tried installing it.
