systray stuff doesnt have a window (a bordered normally managed one) so e
doesnt do anything to those. if windows are still around after a period of time
e complains with a dialog offering to wait some more or exit anyway. if
processes have detached from the parent then they wont die with the parent
(which is e or the login session). as such u pretty much have to blame those
processes for detaching and trying to behave like system daemons. they should
go down with the rest of your login session at worst as they should be child
processes and thus killed off. they try to avoid this from happening.
