[on topic] ah right, Ubuntu doesn't provide the tools for that.. so in order to build it he will need the "build-essentials" package which installs the necessary development tools. However as raster said current e17 builds provide such a clock so well, unless there is no other way, being up to date with it is advised -- Regards, Alex-P.
