the trouble is that i cant find reliable way how to reproduce the problem
so it always takes time even to test any fix.
since i believe the problem was introduced during 1.0.7->1.0.8 cycle
it might be possible to find out the problematic commit if you can
provide some reasonable amount number of them. normal bisect is troublesome
since i dont have recipy to reproduce, but if we have 3-4 suspicious
candidates i believe i can try to revert the patch and test it
within some reasonable time...

bind Eterm to some key (i use "window" key between ctrl and alt, keycode=133 on
my setup)
and launch it from time to time. the problem is that simple repeating doesn't
help.
it probably need some context and even if it happens, immediate attempt to
reproduce
the focus trouble doesn't work...
using ganymede theme if this can be related.
