I dont find instructions anywhere in Elsa on how to replace gdm with 
Elsa! I'm running Ubuntu and gdm comes as default.
I'm also installing E from svn using easy_e17.sh script. The default 
install path is /opt/e17 when using the easy_17.sh script, can Elsa be 
launched as dm with that path ?

Would love to see some instructions or more detailed Elsa README.
