Check to see if the module is still loaded. Settings --> Modules --> Look.
Select load if it doesn't have a green dot beside it.
Then it should show up under Setting Panel --> Look.

Thanks that got back the dialog.  E seventeen seems very stable on my laptop.  
The only problem is the said drop shadows, which only seem to fall on the root 
window background,  not on other windows.  But I'll see what happens 
subsequently.
