Hi there,

I guess it has been asked more than once before, but unfortunately I am not
sure what (keywords) to search for, so I haven't found a useful reply, yet.

When the mouse pointer is over a folder icon in EFM, a sub-window is opened
showing the content of the folder. When the folder contains many files and
directories, the sub-window has even scroll bars.

But what can I do with it? Is there a key or combination of keys for opening
one of the items in the folder?

When I move the mouse or press a button on the mouse or keyboard, the
sub-window disappears. I am unable, e. g., to move the mouse to the sub-window
and select an item. Not sure, but somehow, the sub-window (especially with
scroll bars) seems to have a purpose. But how to use it?

Thanks, everyone, for your patience. I'd be happy, of course, with a pointer to
a previous thread explaining this stuff. I just haven't found one, probably
because I used the wrong words for searching the mailing list archive.

Best regards and a Merry Christmas!

Alex
