Have you, by chance, changed your theme? While I didn't lose all functionality, I did encounter keyboard problems after trying to use a different theme that apparently wasn't up to date enough for the release version.
Maybe try the default theme if you are using a different one. This was the answer I got from the IRC #e channel, and it did work for me.
