You could bind a key to launch the terminal, and another for the "shade up mode toggle". Unfortunately the shade-up doesn't seem to work with frame-less windows (windows without the top title border). Regarding the quickaccess module, un-check transient and the binding will exist for new windows. Also checking "relaunch when closed" will spawn a new session whenever you close the active one (very annoying!)
