After some experimentation I've found that there are ways around this issue on my system. The easiest of which is to turn off "File Manger/Behavior/Open Dirs In Place". Home dir symlinks open perfectly as a result. More difficult, but just as effective, is to use the navigation menu to start at root and use that menu to navigate to my home dir. Double clicking on symlinks in my home dir works fine then. Perhaps I should start with a fresh .e dir. I don't see anyone else mentioning this issue and I assume others are using this ppa. So, likely it's a local issue. Thanks for the feedback. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Everyone hates slow websites. So do we.
