Any particular place you're starting the Desktop Entry Editor? I start it from Settings->Apps->Personal Application Launchers->Add, but I vaguely remember seeing it in other places.
It works for me, but I do have the same problem as you with the Select an Executable. It doesn't populate the application field at all. Definitely a bug, and you should probably report it in phab.enlightenment.org. Otherwise, if I type in the application lcoation and other details, it saves the desktop file perfectly fine in ~/.local/share/applications/ . I'm running E18.8 with efl1.10. dave In the year 2014, of the month of May, on the 27th day, rob wrote: > libs:1.9.4 > e18.8 > > Neither adding app via Select an Executable,(the Application line > remains blank after selection) or manually typing in path to app works. > Tried adding app from /~/bin /usr/bin but same result. > > Does it work for anybody else? > > rob > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > The best possible search technologies are now affordable for all companies. > Download your FREE open source Enterprise Search Engine today! > Our experts will assist you in its installation for $59/mo, no commitment. > Test it for FREE on our Cloud platform anytime! > http://pubads.g.doubleclick.net/gampad/clk?id=145328191&iu=/4140/ostg.clktrk > _______________________________________________ > enlightenment-users mailing list > enlightenment-users@lists.sourceforge.net > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/enlightenment-users ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Time is money.
