An other possible easier way would be to use terminology. In the
settings panel, there is a "keys" section. Add key bindings for every
key in you numpad and give us the names of the keys.

When NumLk is on, are all the non-numbers keys working correctly (like
the Enter there) ?

I do not have any numpad on my keyboards to test :(
