Why not to release ephoto? There is no activity since ages... but that apps works pretty well for simple browsing and viewing images.
I'd like pretty much the File-Manager like UI with the side pane to browse directories and the main pane with... the main dish/images. The UI even get more neat with EFL/ELM-1.14 with a nice dirs list on the left pane. This simple piece of software is worth a 0.MINOR.PATCH tarball to facilitate distributing it.
