I find that when I use the volume keys to increase or decrease volume the action not only changes volume but everything across the board:
Master Headphon< PCM > Front Front Mi Front Mi Surround Center LFE Side Line all those are controlled by the volume key on my keyboard. Is there some place that I can change this?? I tried making a new keyboard shortcut with amixer -- sset Master Playback 2+ But it made no difference at all. I can't find where this is controlled from.
